Animals: small rodents, reptiles, fish, birds, plus rabbits, ferrets and more.
Take the kids for a stroll around the store to see the pets. If it's not busy, ask the store clerks if your kids can pet some of the animals (with supervision.) Sometimes you can watch dogs getting groomed through the large window near the entrance. At PETCO, there are 2 kid sized shopping carts available with little signs on them stating "Customer in training." FREE (unless you choose to buy something)
